Harbor Community Rowing's travel program is based
on selection. Athletes will be required to meet
the program’s standards from the applications received.
The program will be racing U23, Lightweight, U19 and U17 categories
where allowed in sweeping and sculling boats.
The program goal is to
make the fastest boats possible and boat lineups will be
made based on this goal.
Note: If enough interest is show we may consider attending to Canadian Henley's for an additional fee.
The program will be
offer on one session:
Option 1: From June 25th - July 25th and race at three major regattas.
Our first regatta will be the Independence Day Regatta
and it will take place on July 1st and 2nd. Our second regatta will be
Club National Regatta and it will take place
from July 13th to July 17th. Our Last regatta will be
Philadelphia Youth Regatta
and it will take place on July 23rd. We will be attending to six flags
Great Adventure the following day.
June 25 will be a trial period. On June 27, all athletes will be notified of whether or not they will be able to continue with the program. Should an athlete not meet the requirements to be part of the team, they will receive a $150 refund from their $250 registration payment ($100 administrative fee.)
The following are recommended erg times for male and female athletes who wish to participate and join our summer program.
The program is targeting all athletes who have achieved the following erg scores. This is not the only selection criteria and we also understand an athletes can always achieve those times by the start of the program. Athletes who have not reached these scores can certainly apply as well.
